Experimenting with Cloth Diapering

For the last several weeks I've been doing extensive research on cloth diapers, what they are, how to launder, the whole nine yards. And to my amazement cloth diapering is a huge industry. When you think of cloth diapers you might think of your old grandmas cloth and pins. That's not the case anymore. In fact there are a whole slew of options from your traditional prefolds to full all-in-one systems that work just like disposables but you was instead of throw away. I'm still experimenting with all the various options but I have to say going cloth is actually way easier than I ever imagined and not that icky either. As I get the hang of this, I'll be sure to post my findings.

This Holiday season bears a special meaning with my first born turning 12 weeks on Sunday. Everyday I find something new to appreciate and enjoy. At three months, Orion is smiling more and more and has now discovers how to giggle. He no longer wails everytime something is wrong but now expresses himself more disticntly and now only cries when he truly is unhappy.

We get to go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Friday, which will be our second visit to the aquarium in less than a month. It is so exciting, not just for the exhibit but to see how much Orion will respond this time around.

So it's been a while since I've blogged. In fact, I've been blogging sporadically the last few years. Mainly the reason is due to a lack of inspiration and time. But, the good news is I've now found something I could talk about endlessly...

Yes, that would be my newborn son, 10 weeks old, 11.6 lbs. Everyday I run into a new adventure worth blogging. While I cannot promise I'll blog daily, I can say I now have at least have something to blog about. So let's see how this goes.

There are many times when you just can't bring yourself to do a dreaded task. Here's one perspective for that dreaded task:

Mark Twain once said that if the first thing you do each morning is to eat a live frog, you can go through the day with the satisfaction of knowing that it’s the worst thing that is going to happen to you all day long.
